When Willow first arrived, he was shy and cautious, understandably so given his background. But with a little patience and lots of love, he's blossomed into a friendly and affectionate companion. Willow now eagerly welcomes gentle petting sessions and loves nothing more than curling up on a cozy lap. His playful side shines through when it's time for toys and treats, bringing out his natural curiosity and zest for life.
Willow is a chatty kitty who loves to share his joy, especially when he's getting attention. He's particularly fond of male humans but has shown he can be a loving buddy to anyone who gives him the care he deserves. Willow is a bit of a purr machine, revving up his motor after just a few pets. He thrives in a calm, stable environment and would appreciate a quiet space to retreat to whenever he feels like a little solitude. We require that adopters sign our adoption contract and a legally binding no-declawing agreement. There is an adoption fee. Most adult cats are $80 except for those who are sponsored or part of a special. Kittens under 8 months are $145. All adults are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens are adopted at 12 weeks of age or older and are spayed/neutered prior to adoption.

Clear Creek Cat Rescue is a group of individuals in Alaska dedicated to rescuing cats in need, giving them care, rehabilitation if needed, and finding happy homes for them. We each give what we can to help these cats get through this most unfortunate time in their lives when they have been taken to the pound or are otherwise lost and homeless. Some of us share our homes with these cats while they are waiting for their forever family, some transport them from place to place, some host adoption fairs, take pictures, post ads. Some offer financial help. We each do what we can to help. And through this dedicated group of people, more than a thousand cats have been saved and found loving homes.
In 2020, we rescued and rehomed approximately 650 cats.
