Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ubbe is a sweet approxiamtely 4 year old male Dutch Shepherd.. His family had a major life changing event and could no longer keep him. He is people friendly and was raised with young children. Loves to chase squirrels so small dogs and cats are unknown. He knows basic obedience, is housebroken and crate trained. Loves food and lives to please for this reward. We will need to get to know him better to see if has ball, toy, tug drives.

We are just getting to know him, so look for updates on this sweetheart.

We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Our home address is in Michigan, however, the majority of our dogs are not located in Michigan. The physical location of each animal is posted with the name of the dog in the title area. If you are within 4 hours of the dog, please be prepared to pick the pet up. We do provide transport assistance up to 350 miles. The applicant must drive the remainder of the distance of the transport.

After a successful Home Visit the applicant is eligible to review available dogs and talk to state coordinators about making a good match.

Mission Statemet
Malinois and Dutch Shepherd Rescue, Inc. (MAD) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization which is dedicated to rescuing Belgian Malinois and Dutch Shepherds who have found themselves without a home (surrendered, discarded, abused, neglected or impounded). MAD does not have a physical location and is operated by compassionate, like-minded professionals who volunteer their time and resources to help save and care for the Malinois and Dutch Shepherds. All animals that are accepted by MAD are spayed or neutered, given medical attention and rehabilitation, as needed, and placed with foster homes until their health and evaluations are completed and they are ready to be placed in their loving permanent homes.
