My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Albie! This boy has simple needs: good pets and good toys to bat around. He loves to cuddle and snuggle up in bed with you. He’s a year or two old with plenty of energy, but he’s happy running around the house playing with his toys. He’s not a shy boy: he likes people and will come out and hang right away. He is NOT good with other cats, so he should be your one and only.

Albie is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. If you’re interested in this cutie, fill out an application at www.brooklynanimalaction.org/adoption-forms and designate Jennie AnneS as the rescuer.

Thank you for your interest in a rescued kitty! All adoption fees and donations go to saving the next sweetie.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Interested adopters first fill out an adoption application, after which they can visit our animals in their foster homes. If they would like to adopt and their application is approved, they then complete an adoption contract. We also ask for an adoption fee to help us continue our work.

Go meet their pets

Please email us at adopt@brooklynanimalaction.org or contact the e-mail in the individual listing if you are interested in meeting one of our rescued animals. We hold Saturday adoption events at Unleashed by Petco in Park Slope and Petsmart on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn (check our website and Facebook page for more information) and have cats at Bushy Tails pet store in Bushwick and Petsmart.
