My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ginny! Ginny is a dainty little explorer with a heart full of curiosity! While she may be a bit shy at first, she quickly warms up and lets her adventurous side shine. Independent by nature, Ginny loves exploring new places and often embarks on her own little "missions".

Affectionate on her own terms, she's a gentle spirit who enjoys her freedom and space. Ginny has a playful side, too, and she can't resist the thrill of chasing feather toys and laser lights. Ginny is bonded with her brother, Tonic, who brings out her confident side and keeps her company. If you're looking for a curious, independent kitty with a soft side, Ginny is ready to steal your heart!

Must be adopted with Tonic.

Submit Application

Before submitting an application, we ask that you review the information on cat care and our policies here: https://www.vokra.ca/adopt

When you find a kitty you like, you will arrange an appointment with the foster home - where the kitty feels most comfortable and confident.

4.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoptions contract process includes reviewing critical cat care information and providing contacts for post-adoption advice.

5.

Take the Pet Home

Woo hoo! You will be expected to take the kitty to a free post-adoption vet check within 2 weeks, and follow up on any required vet care.

More about this rescue

VOKRA’s mission is to end cat overpopulation and homelessness. We rescue, heal, then place cats - first in our network of foster homes, then in carefully matched, loving, forever homes. We are a passionate, volunteer-driven charity with extensive cat care experience. We believe that no kill is the only responsible approach to rescue, that Trap-Neuter-Return works and that cats are AWESOME!
