Double Adoption with Taylor, #BF3683. It was a very lucky day when Taylor and Monkey were discovered by their heroes, dumped outside to fend for themselves last winter. All that changed when they were delivered to the safety of Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center where they were given a comfortable place to adjust as the vet took exceptional care of them. Monkey is discovered to have hyper cardiomyopathy which is a covered medical condition through our Pet Health Centers. With a successful plan in place, these boys are set on getting to know gentle humans who visit them, and are enjoying treat parties and chin rubs in their sunny room. Once quite shy, Taylor has opened up his heart to the possibility that humans are the heroes who have given him and his brother a safe place to land when they needed it most. After all they went through together, these Taylor and Monkey have earned a quiet home with older kids to spend furever together in. If that sounds like your home, please ask to meet Taylor and Monkey!

When you come down to NSALA an associate will help you figure out what kind of animal will do best in your situation. At that point they will take out the animals you are interested in so that you may get to know them. You will have plenty of time to play and interact with your new friend in our family friendly areas designated for that purpose. When you decide you want to adopt, an associate will help you fill out an application.

Our adoption fees are as follows:
Puppies (up to 6 months) $350
Adult Dogs (over 6 months) $100
Puppy Mill Rescues $250
Small Breed & Pure Breeds (over 6 months) $250
Kittens (up to 6 months) $100
Double Kittens $150
Adult Cats (over 6 months) $50
Double Adult Cats $75

Where applicable, a $50 Spay/Neuter deposit is required for kittens, $75 for puppies.

Our Adoption Center, is open every Thursday-Sunday 12pm-8pm. On average, our shelter is home to 350 dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens. Behind the scenes, the Adoption Center contains a nursery area, medical examination room and a grooming area where new admissions are health checked, vaccinated, bathed and groomed.

Visitors are reminded that adoption is a lifelong commitment. After selecting a pet, each potential adopter is thoroughly screened, ensuring each adopter recognizes the life-changing commitment a new pet can be. To date, over 1,000,000 pet owners have met our high standards and adopted a pet from North Shore Animal League America.
