My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

HI, I’M MINNIE.No one knows my original name. I got rescued (rumor has it) from a hoarding house. I guess this is where I learned crate training but I’m also potty trained. Good for me! I was adopted by the nicest lady who spoiled me with toys, my own blanket, a big space on her sofa, and sleep time in her bed. Her housekeeper, family, friends and handyman LOVED on me every time they came to visit. I got used to all that attention. Then my mommy suddenly died. Her daughter and son-in-law are fostering me until they find the perfect new home for me. They don’t want me to ever have to go through another loss so they want this adoption to be a great fit with someone that isn’t as old as my first mom.

Cool Things About Me

> Super SWEET to other people and dogs. A little scared of big dogs. Not sure about kitties or really young kids.

> I’m a bit shy in new situations but acclimate quickly once I feel loved and safe,

> I’m playful, friendly and fun.

> Love toys - like to fetch them and throw them up in the air.

>> LOVE to go on walks, cuddle, greet new people and play with my foster family dogs. Although I’m a tiny thing, I can hold my own if another pup gets too aggressive.

> I have an ADORABLE underbite

> They are pretty sure I am a Fox Terrier-Chihuahua.

> I’m about 4 years old and in great health.

> Prefer to eat alone since I don’t like worrying someone will steal my food. I eat out of a slow bowl because I eat too fast and that upsets my tummy.

> Did I mention I’m adorable?????

Minnie is a jewel.  Her Mom has passed and sadly Minnie isi looking foir her forever home.  She is a package of joy!  She is 3 to 4 years old and in awesome health.  She weighs around 7 lbs.  She has great energy but not too hyper.  Great Disposition and loves to play with other dogs.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

Thank you for adopting and not buying!!! Every week hundreds of highly adoptabledogs are put to death by local shelters. Most people would be amazed at the purebred and beautiful dogs available, if they walked into their neighborhood shelter.

Rescue organizations, like mine, work hard to save as many as we possibly can but is a never ending process with breeders and Puppy Mills selling unhealthy animals to the public. If you EVER saw a puppy mill you would NEVER buy again!

All of my dogs are neutered or spayed, vet checked, completely vaccinated, wormed, groomed and checked for heart worms. They are all are current on Heart worm medicine, flea, and tick medications. They are all microchipped as well.

Adoption fee is $300 to $350 (older "friends' can be less, please inquire. Puppies are $350 - Besides fully vetting all dogs, some of of the dogs I rescue, 1 in 5 I rescue have heart worms which is very expensive to treat. I also take in dogs who need surgeries and are close to death.

More about this rescue

About us: Cody was the first pet I owned as an adult. He was a Shih Tzu that I bought unknowingly, from a Puppy Mill. He fought for his life and barely survived, suffering for the first few months of his life. From then on I was stirred by a ferocious passion to save as many dogs as I could through networking with other rescue groups and saving the ones I could off of cold streets and unwanted in shelters. Cody did not live a very long life due to a weakened body, but I was able to love on him for eight good years! He will always be loved and forever remembered. With over 400 dogs rescued so far, we ARE making a difference!!
Thank you for visiting and considering a rescue........................
