My name is Rachel!

Meet Rachel! She is 1.5 years old & smaller at only 45 lbs. She was not treated kind by her owners and lived outside. Once she was rescued she was heartworm positive and already treated so he is healthy and happy now. She was shy from her past and she worked with a trainer as well to gain more self confidence and to learn basic manners. Because of all this she would most likely be best around older children if you have any.
Rachel has a calm, loving, laid back demeanor and is an amazing dog. She enjoys walks, sun bathing, riding in the car, and snuggling with her human. Rachel gets along with other dogs that have manners. She would not do well with a dog that is obnoxious as it would flare up her anxiety. Cats? She does well with them. She can appear curious, but she was taught to leave them alone.
Rachel is house trained. She is kennel trained but prefers to not stay in one. She does well being left home alone and usually snoozes in her dog bed. Her ideal forever would be quieter and calm and very loving. Applications to adopt this sweet girl are at codysfriendsrescue.org
