My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

am absolute "eye-candy" with my beautiful fur coat of swirls & the black "antiquing" color on my face: around my eyes, nose, & the base of my white whiskers.

I'm very playful. I play well with other cats in my foster home (young & old) & also entertain myself very well.

I am a joy to watch & you will laugh with joy when watching me play. I'm very entertaining!

My Mom-Cat, Ella, is such a good mother to me & my litter mates. Mom-Cat was an outside stray & taught us how to stay safe & find food outside. Our close-knit fur-family eventually found a friendly doorstep to show up on & Feline Network Rescue came to our rescue & is helping us find our furever homes.

I was a real "mama's girl" when I was outside & liked to stay right beside my Mom-Cat for comfort & cuddles & lick-baths.

Now, I'm realizing, day by day, that those things are also wonderful when given to me by loving & caring people.

I am a quiet girl, but have just recently found my voice & I am joining the other cats in my foster home with meowing to be petted & treats. My fosters heard my sweet meow just this week & I melted their hearts

I am a curious, smart, & very playful girl & am doing better & better each day with learning to enjoy pets & ear scratches.

I have so much love to give. Gaze upon my pics & fall in love with me. I'll love you right back. You'll end up having conversations with me like: "No. I love you more" & I'll say, "No. I love you more".

We do contact landlords if potential adopter is renting and we also complete vet checks.
If your pet is NOT spayed or neutered, please explain why not.
Current pets must be up to date on core vaccines, rabies and dogs must be on heartworm preventative.

More about this rescue

Started in 2003 Feline Network Rescue INC is a 501C3 charity originally located in Northern VA but relocated to the Greater Charlotte NC in 2019. Feline Network Rescue, has been monumentally instrumental in trap, neuter and return of ferals and has found homes for hundreds of cats over the years who were stray, abandoned or living on their own in the wild. The mission now continues in North Carolina. A partnership was formed with Faithful Friends Animal Rescue, and then a grant was provided to them. With that over 700 cats were TNR'd by Barbara and one other amazing woman in 14 months.

Feline Network Rescue does NOT have a shelter, but utilizes foster homes of wonderful volunteers that dedicate their time and energy to provide a natural home setting to our rescued kitties...
We have NO paid staff, depend on donations and the generosity of our volunteers, friends and adopters to keep our program going strong.
Our success depends on not only the love for cat rescue and generosity of volunteers, but also the community who see the results of our work and realize that our passion to help homeless cats and kittens will "make a difference... one rescue at a time."
