Meet Caramel, a sweet, shy puppy with a personality as smooth and gentle as a chocolate caramel bar. She's the most timid of her siblings, preferring to observe from the sidelines, but once she feels safe, she reveals a quiet, independent spirit. Like a caramel filling, she’s soft and sweet—needing just a little extra time to warm up. Caramel is currently available for adoption but urgently needs a foster home to help her find the confidence to blossom. If you're looking for a gentle, calm companion who’s ready to melt your heart, Caramel might be your perfect match.

Once your application is submitted and approved for the dog you are interested in, someone will call you to start the adoption process

ADOPTION FEE*: Fees vary due to costs put into them, but START at $400 for adults and $500 for puppies.

The adoption fee is for the adoption of the pet. We make sure that our animals are or will be spayed/neutered, receive the proper vaccines and are microchipped and we cover the cost for that if it's not already done before you adopt.

More about this rescue

A Wish for Animals is an all volunteer run organization trying to help as many homeless animals as possible. We work tirelessly to help these animals become adoptable and work hard to find the them the right match so that you can enjoy your pet for the rest of its' life.

During Covid we have been inundated with applications, so please be patient with us as we all work full time as well and are doing our best to care for our animals and find the right homes for them.
