This handsome, resilient boy is Hendrix! He was out and about for a while before being captured in a trap and brought into the shelter on 11/6. He was nervous and overwhelmed in the loud shelter environment at first, but he's calming down and showing himself to be an amazing dog! The person who was able to trap him said he is very affectionate and was good with her kids and her dog (see video)! The shelter volunteers have enjoyed getting to know Hendrix, and they describe him as curious and friendly. He does know several basic commands including sit and lay down.
Hendrix is approximately 1.5 years old, and he weighs 61 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and he has been neutered. He did test negative for heartworms which is great news! Hendrix will be microchipped upon adoption. Please come meet this sweet boy in run 109; his ID # is 6034.
