Junji is a 5 year old Pekingese or Peke Mix who was found as a stray in a local community. Though his life before rescue is unknown, we have learned that Junji is an absolute angel with a face that can't be resisted. He enjoys cuddles on the couch, playing fetch, and being next to his people at all times. Junji is crate and housetrained, but does have a tendency to mark when introduced to a new environment. He has no problem wearing a belly band when needed. Junji does not enjoy the cat in his current foster home, so a cat free home is a must for this little guy. He is neutered, up to date with all of his vaccines, on monthly heartworm/ flea/tick preventatives and ready to meet his forever family.

Additional adoption info

Filling out an application is the first step. An online application is located on Haven to Home's homepage. Application, references, home visit and adoption fee are required to adopt one of our dogs. Due to the severe overpopulation of dogs in this country Haven to Home believes that responsible pet owners have their pets spayed or neutered. Therefore it is our policy not to adopt our dogs to people who do not have their current animals spayed or neutered unless there is a medical reason. Adoption fees are listed on our website.

Haven to Home Canine Rescue is an all volunteer organization that was founded in June 2008. We do not have a shelter, but use foster homes to care for the dogs that are awaiting their forever homes. FOSTER HOMES are the HAVEN in Haven to Home. We are a non-profit, 501(c)3, organization.
