Cookie is an adorable Chihuahua who is just one of the sweetest dogs we have At the rescue. SHe was brought to the shelter with 11 other Chihuahuas, who were living in a very bad situation. Cookie really needs out of this shelter. She is so sad here. Her happiest moments are sitting with our volunteers and getting lots of hugs and kisses. Cookie is very affectionate and is happiest in your arms. This sweet girl should not be living in a rescue in her golden years, especially when life has not been so kind to her. Please open up your heart and adopt this sweetheart

Many factors determine which applicant will be matched with a particular pet. If you are not able to adopt a pet today, it does not mean that you are not considered a good pet owner or that your home is not acceptable. Our goal is to place all animals into homes that will best suit their individual needs and personality. We will get back with you as soon as possible. Most of our staff are volunteers
