My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet Heidi was born 5/26/23. She was purchased as a puppy on Craig's List and they were told she was a Standard Poodle. She was living in a home with other small dogs, but they picked on her. Because her other small dogs ganged up on her, the owner felt she would do better in a different environment. Heidi came in at only 30 pounds on November 5th but has been eating very well and is currently 40 pounds. She can still stand to gain a bit more, but is well on her way. She came in matted so we will send her over to get groomed on 11/15. New owner should be prepared for regular grooming visits and the cost involved with that. Heidi has been a house dog at night, but was left outside during the day because of the other dog situation. We would like to find a place where she can be with her family more often and have the good care she needs. She did live in a home with children 3 and older. She was taken to the dog park and played well there. She does respond to the "sit" command and we are told she is house trained. $425.00 adoption.
