Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Nikki (8 months) and Marigold (6 months) are adorable little kittens! Nikki, the bold and beautiful Siamese, is a fearless explorer with a love for playtime and snuggles. She’ll have you laughing with her daring antics and cozying up with her purrs. Marigold, on the other hand, is a sweet and gentle soul who takes her time warming up but lights up with joy for pets and lap time; she helps to build Nikki's confidence.
They love playing tug of war with a shoelace, running around in the house, enjoying long naps on big cat tree, and being little explorers as they watch the world go by out the window.
These lovely pals are independent but also seek out playtime with each other. While not bonded just yet, they are both very playful, sleep on the cat tree together, and love lounging on the floor when their humans show up.
Nikki and Marigold are very active; they have that joyful kitten energy! They keep each other occupied, enjoy string time, chasing catnip toys, or simply watching each other run around the house!
Both live in a single-family home with two adults and a resident cat.
They will do great in a similar setting as ours—namely with adults without little kids; although both kittens are learning to have good cat manners, they are still babies. Nikki and Marigold other cats but have not been introduced to dog or children yet; they would probably do well with gentle, cat-friendly older kids and teens.
Nikki helps Marigold be brave and social, while Marigold reminds Nikki that being gentle is just as fun. Although they’re not officially bonded, they still need each other to learn cat skills as they grow older; in time, they will be the very best of friends. Are you ready to keep them company on this fun-filled, high-energy journey?
There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated.
Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption. Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Pet Haven is a foster-based rescue. Our animals live with foster families until they are placed in permanent homes and their foster families get to know the dogs and cats learning important information about the animals. For example, the foster family will know if the dog or cat is good with other animals or children, and will have a good idea of what kind of training, attention, and special needs the pet may require. This makes our foster families great resources for potential adopters!

How We Help

Phoenix Fund for Special Needs: Providing veterinary care for animals in need of healing
What We Do
We help dogs and cats find homes with loving families through foster-based care. Every dog and cat lives with a foster family until they find their forever families. We provide all of their basic needs including proper food, veterinary care, behavior training, and supplies.
Through in-home fostering, we learn about each animal’s temperament, personality, likes/dislikes, and any medical needs. With this first-hand information, we can then find the right family for each dog and cat.
Our volunteers also educate the public on responsible companion animal care and represent respect for animals at all times. Whether we’re working with prospective new families, meeting people at public events, or socializing with friends and family, we encourage others to view and treat their pets as members of the family. We are their guardians, and they depend on us for companionship and care.
We spay/neuter prior to adoption.
We microchip all our Pet Haven Pets and remain as a secondary contact.
We make sure all pets are up to date on required vaccinations
We test for Heartworm and Lymes in all our dogs and are transparent in the results and treament
We test for FeLV/FIV and are transparent in the results. We believe that cats who test positive still deserve a chance at a quality home.
We do not euthanize animals unless they have untreatable health or behavioral conditions that deny them an acceptable quality of life or makes them a serious threat to people, other animals, or themselves.
How We Operate
We rely on adoption fees, tax-deductible donations, grants, and special events to keep our rescue operating. Our staff, Board of Directors, and volunteers have provided the passion and commitment to keep Pet Haven a safe haven for animals for almost 70 years.
We are committed to preventing pet homelessness through the SNIP Grant. Since 2005, we have granted more than $240,000 to organizations in Minnesota to support spay/neuter initiatives.
