Toddie is a 2 1/2 year old owner surrendered beagle. She is extremely affectionate! She loves sitting on your lap or next to you on the couch. She is not shy about asking for attention!  

She loves chew toys and going outside with her foster siblings. She sleeps in a crate and can be found at times laying in the crate. She is smart and knows a few basic commands such as sit and stay. 

She has the beagle bay and will use it when finding the scent of a squirrel or other animal when outside. Being a beagle, she is a scent hound and will require a fenced yard. She would do well either as an only dog or in a home with other dogs. We do not know how she will do with cats.

Toddie is still learning how to ask to go outside to potty. She has been in our home about a week and has had a few accidents but overall does well. Toddie would do best with school age children or older due to her exuberance.

Furry Kids' Refuge is in need of good quality dog and puppy food with meat as the first ingredient.  You can drop off donations at our weekly adoption events at the Lee's Summit Petco (1860 NW Chipman Road, Lee's Summit, MO), Saturdays only from 11am to 2:00 p.m.  Donations are tax deductible as allowed by law.
