Pisa is a lovely little lady with a heart full of sweetness and a playful spirit! Rescued as a tiny kitten from the outdoors along with her siblings, she’s come a long way and is now ready to find her forever home. While she may start off a bit timid or shy in new environments, Pisa quickly warms up to those she trusts. Once she feels comfortable, she’s all about affection and will happily snuggle up for some quiet bonding time and head scratches. Pisa is gentle and even-tempered, making her an easygoing companion. She’s playful and loves chasing after toys, especially if it involves a good game of pouncing or batting things around. Her calm demeanor and curiosity mean she can also enjoy simply lounging around and observing the world around her—nothing too rushed for this girl! Pisa would do well in a home where she can take her time getting comfortable and ideally, with another friendly cat to keep her company. If you're looking for a kitten who is sweet, playful, and affectionate, Pisa is sure to steal your heart!

Submit Application

All Applications are completed online. Please allow 24 hours for processing. https://www.savingonelife.org/adopt/apply/

2.
Meet the Pet

Once approved, a meet 'n' greet will be scheduled.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If the meet 'n' greet is a match, the contract will be completed and adoption fee will need to be remitted.

Additional adoption info

We will adopt to out of state adopters but we do NOT ship animals under any conditions. You must come to us in person to meet the animal and make sure it is a mutual match. We have had many adopters come from the states around us and drive or fly with their new family member back.

We also have a small satellite operation in San Diego with adoption events on select Saturdays at the PetSmart Escondido store.

More about this rescue

Saving One Life is a completely foster based, volunteer run, never kill rescue. Our motto is that although we can't save the world, it makes a world of difference to the ones we do save.

If you find a litter of kittens or your cat accidentally got pregnant - please contact us if you are able to foster them at intake@savingonelife.org. We cannot take in more animals without foster homes. All supplies and vet care will be taken care of - all you have to do is open your home and heart to them until they can find homes of their own!

All of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested for felv/fiv (Cats), dewormed, and microchipped. Adoption fees range depending on the animal's age and breed. All adoption fees assist other animals in our care - we do not have any paid employees. We are a completely never kill group that provides sanctuary to any "unadoptable" animals that come into our care including hospice care.
