Hello there, I`m Juliet. Life at the shelter is quite interesting. I spend my days exploring my surroundings, chasing after imaginary mice, and napping in cozy corners. I`m known to be quite the sweetie, always ready to purr and rub against the hands of those who come to visit. I`ve made many friends here, both feline and human. But what I really long for is a home of my own. Somewhere I can stretch out in sunlit spots and share my love with a forever family. More about this shelter

The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society was founded in 1926 and incorporated in 1949. The Humane Society has a publicly-tendered contract with the City of Windsor to provide animal control and basic shelter services in the City. This is only a portion of the work done by our organization. In 2016 almost 12,000 animal came through the doors of our shelter and spay/neuter clinic. We can’t help them without your support.
