Hi there, I`m Desert. As a kitten, my world is filled with curiosity, but I`m a little shy. Every day, I watch the world unfold from my cozy corner, observing the comings and goings with wide-eyed wonder. I`ve seen others find their forever homes and I dream of the day it will be my turn. I may be quiet, but I have a lot of love to give. I just need someone patient enough to let me come out of my shell. Adopting me would mean giving a shy kitten like me a chance to blossom. I promise, I`m worth the wait.

More about this shelter

The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society was founded in 1926 and incorporated in 1949. The Humane Society has a publicly-tendered contract with the City of Windsor to provide animal control and basic shelter services in the City. This is only a portion of the work done by our organization. In 2016 almost 12,000 animal came through the doors of our shelter and spay/neuter clinic. We can’t help them without your support.
