My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SUNNY NEEDS A HOME!  (courtesy post - if you are interested, use the contact info at the end of this post)  From Sunny's current caretaker:
"Sunny boy and his mother, the German Shepherd named Reagan, came to us through a neighbor who is no longer able to care for them due to illness.
I have fostered hundreds of dogs and I can say categorically that Sunny boy is one my absolute favorites. He is about two years old. His father was a traveling salesman of the husky variety and his mother is a purebred German Shepherd. He is so funny and so fun loving that I envision him going to an active family because he is so friendly and loves to play. I think he would also do great traveling around because he loves to meet people. He’s definitely a showstopper and everyone remarks on how handsome he is. He seems to get along good with our dogs and we’ve seen no aggression from him.
He is now in foster care with us, and is currently staying in the large pen with his mom Reagan. Two of my older dogs are aggressive, and I don’t want to expose the foster dogs to them. This big boy is such a sad sack when he’s not getting love. He wants nothing more than to sit by your feet run around and play and be adored. Won’t you consider bringing him into your family? You won’t regret it.
Sunny Boy is a neutered male and will be up-to-date on all vaccinations and heartworm testing.

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

All animals are current on shots (DHLPP and rabies) and spayed or neutered. If a pet is too young to be altered, a spay/neuter contract defining a surgery date is required prior to adoption. Anyone interested in a adopting a pet must complete an adoption application. Reference checks and a home visit are also part of the application process. If the home check goes well, an appointment will be arranged to meet the potential companion. A contract is required for each adoption.
