Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Rufus was originally found as a stray in Puerto Rico and for the past month he has been staying with me and my crazy pack of cats and dogs. Rufus takes everything in stride. He is a silly and simple guy who goes along with what everyone else is doing. If you're going for a walk, he's excited to join you. If you're hanging out in the backyard, he's excited to sniff and explore the yard. Once he's back in the house, all he wants to do is curl up in his bed or cuddle on the couch with me. Rufus also loves to eat-- he's always up for snacks and he does this really cute excited dance when it's meal time.
Rufus has been a very polite house guest-- he only barks when he wants to go outside or eat and he has been doing well with potty training. He's an older guy and he can't hear well or much at all, but that doesn't seem to hold him back. He keeps up with my dogs when they're playing outside and if they get too rowdy, he just moves to the side and lets them keep playing. He coexists with the cats beautifully, he will sniff them if they are close to him, but he isn't interested in investigating them further. He is friendly when meeting new people and has done really well when meeting kids too.
Rufus is such a sweet boy who deserves to find a family who will love him forever. Could that family be yours...? He flew all the way here from Puerto Rico to find you!
