Despite his tough start in life, having been abandoned by his previous owner, Jethro is full of love and ready to trust again.
Jethro’s playful nature and curious personality make him a great companion for someone who enjoys outdoor adventures, daily walks, or even some fun fetch sessions. He’s still in his “puppy phase,” so he’s working on his manners and loves any opportunity to bond with his humans. He’s quick to learn, so with a little patience and training, he’ll thrive in a structured environment.

We also offer "Meet N' Greets" for adopters wishing to introduce a current dog to a potential new playmate.

We are a private, nonprofit animal welfare organization proud to be serving the people and animals of Yakima County for over 100 years. We practice and promote the humane treatment of animals through animal control services, pet adoption, humane education, information, referral and quality animal care.
