Name: Stormy
Age: DOB: 11/01/2020
Sex: female,  spayed
Breed: French Bulldog
Weight: 25 lbs
Housebroken: unknown
Kids: 7 and older
Other dogs: very friendly with other dogs.
Cats: unknown
Housing: she needs housing with backyard space.
Personality: she is a darling dog, very sweet and very loving. She loves her person. Stormy is active & playful with toys.  She has a very happy-go-lucky personality. Can sit & shake on command. Will bond very easily with her new owner. She just wants to be loved.
The Breed: We highlight breed information here. Please familiarize yourself with the French Bulldog. Click here. French Bulldog. They can be expensive to own and are a brachycephalic breed. They are lap dogs who are heat intolerant and can have breathing issues if you over exercise them. They are high-maintenance dogs which is why there are so many in the shelters & in rescue. They require facial fold cleaning, butt wiping, ear cleaning, and skin maintenance, especially during the hot, allergy ridden summer months. Please research what you are adopting.
What we know: Her prior owners were breeding her. Litter after litter she had & they were selling puppies. When they were done with her after 4 years, they simply wanted to open the door and put her out. We caught wind of this and intervened.
Medical: healthy, vaccinated, spayed, microchipped.
How to apply: visit OUR website at www.animalsrule.org and fill out the online application of interest

More about this rescue

Our Mission Statement:

Our primary goal is to remove dogs in danger of being euthanized from shelter environments and foster them until permanent homes are found through our adoption program. We believe in the spay and neuter of all animals, regardless of breed, in order to aid in the prevention of pet overpopulation. We provide our dogs with shelter, proper veterinary care and any necessary rehabilitation. We rescue all breeds of dogs and they come to us from a variety of different sources. Most of our dogs are rescued from our city and county shelters, others are strays, neglected, or abandoned due to their owners various financial situations.

Who We Are:

We are based out of the south bay, in the city of San Pedro, California. Our funding comes entirely from donations, our adoption fees and fund raisers. We do not receive any city, county or government funding. Your tax deductible donation is used 100% for the welfare and veterinary care of the animals while they are with us.
