Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
This sweet girl is named Apricot because of her color and because she’s as sweet as an apricot. She’s also recently had puppies that are at the shelter. We’re calling them the three musketeers. They are approximately six months old and were brought in by one of our officers along with Apricot on 11/14. They are up for adoption also. They are all black… go figure? Apricot is a two year-old 60 pound American terrier pit/American Staffordshire pit mix. You can tell from the concrete calluses on her elbows and on her rear that she has been mostly an outside dog. This time around she wants to and deserves to be an inside dog. She’s a total loving cuddle bug! She’s very sweet, gentle, calm, friendly, and affectionate. She sits for treats and takes them gently. She stays close looking up at you with her beautiful eyes. She definitely wants to please. She didn’t seem to have a problem meeting other dogs. I even saw a little tail wag now and then. She walks very well on a leash. She did her business when she got out into the yard. Hopefully I have convinced you to tag her or to come and meet her. Her charms will win you over.
