My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sex: Male

Breed: German Shepherd

Estimated Date of Birth : 09/17/2022

The mild mannered secret goofball type? Yup that’s our Radio! This boy comes off a little shy but he’s absolutely hiding that goofball side. Bring in a fun canine friend and you’re going to see a whole new Radio! He’s silly and fun and those antics are going down! We love his true self that he tucks away until he’s comfortable and we know once he’s adopted and settled his real personality is going to shine! Until then we’ll continue building up his confidence and help him be the dog we know he can be.

Shy dogs don’t fare well in a shelter environment and Radio was doomed the minute he walked through those shelter doors. With so many instantly happy go lucky dogs vying for potential adopters Radios initial shyness held him back. He sat unwanted and unnoticed for almost 2 months. Dogs who linger too long in a shelter all meet the same fate…euthanasia. We couldn’t let that happen and knew we could give Radio the chance and the time he needed. Radio has joined us at our rescue ranch and we can’t wait to find this sweet boy his forever home.

Radio is eager to please his humans and needed the extra time rescue can give him to find his perfect family. We’d love to see him in a home with another fun and playful dog to help pull him out of his shell. He walks great on leash and is starting to pickup the basic obedience skills ranch staff are working into his daily routine. If you’re looking for a great dog who needs a little extra time to shine consider giving Radio the chance he’s been waiting for!
