Eclipse is a very sensitive cat. When you first meet him, he probably won't let you near him. If he does, he is likely going to bat his paws at your hand or try to bite you. It's important to remember that he is just nervous. It takes a while for you to earn his trust, but with enough patience, he'll let you pet him! He only likes getting scratches behind his ears, so be gentle on how you approach him. If you have the time and energy to work with a cat that takes a while to trust you, the end is worth it. Eclipse can be the kindest cat in the world once you show him you love him. To meet Eclipse in person please stop by the shelter on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday during our normal business hours. Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday doesn't work for you? To meet the animals any day of the week, please fill out an adoption application.
