My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rocky (M) DOB 7/10/24; an adorable, solid black, medium-long-hair mix, born around mid-July. He, along with his siblings, was abandoned by his original owners, but fortunately discovered by a neighbor and brought to a shelter. He is extremely affectionate and wants to be the center of attention. He is very much a lap cat, and can be very insistent about getting petted, and will scold you verbally if you stop too soon! Rocky loves chasing and wrestling with his two sisters, and really enjoys cat toys. Rocky was fostered in a home that included a dog and an adult cat. We screen potential adopters,can do home visits, and require an adoption fee. we do not allow declawing and all cats are returned to our shelter if there are problems in adopters home.

More about this rescue

We are a 501(c)(3) non profit group of unpaid volunteers who have come together to rescue cats from the street. Our group rescues cats already in trouble through abandonment. We saw a need in our community for cats on the street with no advocates to be helped through sheltering, spay/neuter and placement in homes of their own.
