Jemima came to us as a stray living in a colony of other cats. She was six months old and had a litter of five babies. A couple days after arriving in care the babies got sick and only two survived. Being so young she had a hard time knowing how to care for her babies, especially when they were sick. Jemima would do best in a house that is calm and with someone who is willing to give her time to adjust to her new situation. She enjoys having other cats around, not sure about dogs. She enjoys occasional pets and really loves treats. When in her foster room she stayed in her own little corner but once allowed to be out in the house and free she seems to have relaxed more and will chill on the climber and engage more with her babies. Jemima is spayed, microchipped, tested negative for feline leukemia and aids, dewormed, and vaccinated. If you are interested in meeting her please fill out an application at www.sccpets.com
