My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Brutus, a charming character who has a heart full of sweetness and a personality that`s irresistibly friendly. His goofiness brings joy to everyone around him, and his cuddly nature makes him the perfect companion for cozy nights in. Brutus is an adult, but his spirit is youthful and full of energy. He loves playing fetch, going on long walks, and spending quality time with his human friends. Despite his playful demeanor, Brutus is also a great listener and a loyal friend. He`s the kind of dog who will always be by your side, offering unconditional love and companionship. If you`re looking for a pet that will bring joy, laughter, and love into your life, Brutus is the one for you. Adopt Brutus and let him show you the true meaning of friendship and loyalty.

More about this shelter

We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
