Rainn is an introspective, 5-month-old kitten looking for his forever home!
This handsome stripey guy often stares at me with his golden eyes, as if he is reading my thoughts; he kind of goes into Zen mode. Then he will jump and skitter across the floor to play with a toy or a sibling! His fur is silky soft, and he has beautiful markings. He loves to be pet and will give you a purr and a snuggle.
Rainn is always happy to play with his fellow kittens and enjoys being around people.
This adorable boy practices meditation and Zen for part of the day, communing with his inner peace while resting and observing—for the rest of the day, you’ll find him enthusiastically playing with catnip toys.
Rainn gets dry food in the morning, followed by a happy playtime session with catnip toys for a bit, then he will take a nap with his siblings. In the evening, he gets wet food; then he will play some more with his buddies followed by another restorative nap.
Rainn lives in a room in a house with his 4 other kitten bffs; there are also 3 young cats who sometimes come to visit. There are two adults in his current home, but Rainn could live happily with a family of any age, as long as they are around frequently and enjoy lots of playtime and kitten shenanigans. He will have to go home with one of his kitten siblings, or to a home with an active young resident cat to show him the ropes.
If you’re ready for nonstop fun this winter, why not let the good times Rainn down on you and your family?
There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated.

Pet Haven is a foster-based rescue. Our animals live with foster families until they are placed in permanent homes and their foster families get to know the dogs and cats learning important information about the animals. For example, the foster family will know if the dog or cat is good with other animals or children, and will have a good idea of what kind of training, attention, and special needs the pet may require. This makes our foster families great resources for potential adopters!

What We Do
We help dogs and cats find homes with loving families through foster-based care. Every dog and cat lives with a foster family until they find their forever families. We provide all of their basic needs including proper food, veterinary care, behavior training, and supplies.
Through in-home fostering, we learn about each animal’s temperament, personality, likes/dislikes, and any medical needs. With this first-hand information, we can then find the right family for each dog and cat.
Our volunteers also educate the public on responsible companion animal care and represent respect for animals at all times. Whether we’re working with prospective new families, meeting people at public events, or socializing with friends and family, we encourage others to view and treat their pets as members of the family. We are their guardians, and they depend on us for companionship and care.
We spay/neuter prior to adoption.
We microchip all our Pet Haven Pets and remain as a secondary contact.
We make sure all pets are up to date on required vaccinations
We test for Heartworm and Lymes in all our dogs and are transparent in the results and treament
We test for FeLV/FIV and are transparent in the results. We believe that cats who test positive still deserve a chance at a quality home.
We do not euthanize animals unless they have untreatable health or behavioral conditions that deny them an acceptable quality of life or makes them a serious threat to people, other animals, or themselves.
How We Operate
We rely on adoption fees, tax-deductible donations, grants, and special events to keep our rescue operating. Our staff, Board of Directors, and volunteers have provided the passion and commitment to keep Pet Haven a safe haven for animals for almost 70 years.
We are committed to preventing pet homelessness through the SNIP Grant. Since 2005, we have granted more than $240,000 to organizations in Minnesota to support spay/neuter initiatives.
