Wonton and Pierogi are a 5-month-old creamsicle duo looking for their forever home together.
These two babies are biological siblings who have lived together their whole lives. They share a beautiful and loving sibling connection.
Pierogi boy is sweet, playful and full of personality and charm. He’s incredibly friendly and has a knack for making everyone he meets feel special. He purrs up a storm and will happily snuggle up with you for cozy moments; his soft, luxurious fur makes him a delight to pet.
With a boundless love for play, he’ll keep you entertained with his antics and has a warm, affectionate nature that makes him impossible not to love. If you're looking for a beautiful, loving companion to bring joy to your home, he's ready to be your new furry family member.
Pierogi is a social kitten and loves to play with his sister and our resident cat. The kittens stay in their room for night (9 pm to 7:30 am) and they do well. They are ready to wake up when they hear the foster family moving around.
Wonton is a gentle and curious little girl kitten with a soft heart and curious nature! She’s a sweet, snuggly girl who loves curling up for cozy naps and quiet moments. She’s great at playing, napping, and enjoys watching the fish.
Though she may be a bit reserved at first, Wonton's curiosity always wins out, and she’ll soon be exploring right alongside you. She also gains a lot of confidence by watching her go-go-go brother take the lead. Playtime with her brother is her favorite part of the day, where she can let her playful side shine!
Wonton does well with her brother and our resident cat; this independent girl just does her own thing, unless she wants to play—then she jumps in. When it’s time for dinner, Wonton needs to be in a room by herself, so she does not get distracted, and so her boisterous brother does not eat her food.
Pierogi and Wonton are currently living with a family with two kids (11 and 14), especially bonding with the 14-year-old. Wanton loves to cuddle and get belly rubs and anyone who wants to play with Pierogi will be his best friend. They also live with one resident cat, and they have a mutual respect for each other and coexist fine. They would do well in a home with multiple people and activity, but probably not very young children. They would be okay with gentle dogs and calm, older children.
For a double dose of kitten shenanigans, please consider adding Wonton and Pierogi to your family! —--- There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimate. Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%. All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated.
Cats are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped. Please note there may be additional follow up visits and boosters that are not covered by Pet Haven after adoption. Interested in adopting or learning more about this cat? Pet Haven is a foster-based rescue. Our animals live with foster families until they are placed in permanent homes and their foster families get to know the dogs and cats learning important information about the animals. For example, the foster family will know if the dog or cat is good with other animals or children, and will have a good idea of what kind of training, attention, and special needs the pet may require. This makes our foster families great resources for potential adopters!

How We Help

Phoenix Fund for Special Needs: Providing veterinary care for animals in need of healing
What We Do
We help dogs and cats find homes with loving families through foster-based care. Every dog and cat lives with a foster family until they find their forever families. We provide all of their basic needs including proper food, veterinary care, behavior training, and supplies.
Through in-home fostering, we learn about each animal’s temperament, personality, likes/dislikes, and any medical needs. With this first-hand information, we can then find the right family for each dog and cat.
Our volunteers also educate the public on responsible companion animal care and represent respect for animals at all times. Whether we’re working with prospective new families, meeting people at public events, or socializing with friends and family, we encourage others to view and treat their pets as members of the family. We are their guardians, and they depend on us for companionship and care.
We spay/neuter prior to adoption.
We microchip all our Pet Haven Pets and remain as a secondary contact.
We make sure all pets are up to date on required vaccinations
We test for Heartworm and Lymes in all our dogs and are transparent in the results and treament
We test for FeLV/FIV and are transparent in the results. We believe that cats who test positive still deserve a chance at a quality home.
We do not euthanize animals unless they have untreatable health or behavioral conditions that deny them an acceptable quality of life or makes them a serious threat to people, other animals, or themselves.
How We Operate
We rely on adoption fees, tax-deductible donations, grants, and special events to keep our rescue operating. Our staff, Board of Directors, and volunteers have provided the passion and commitment to keep Pet Haven a safe haven for animals for almost 70 years.
We are committed to preventing pet homelessness through the SNIP Grant. Since 2005, we have granted more than $240,000 to organizations in Minnesota to support spay/neuter initiatives.
