My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Miley!

Trust us, this little girl is not just absolutely adorable (with the most boopable nose!), but she is as sweet as can be as well.  Miley is a playful, curious, friendly, grade A snuggler!  She is the perfect mix of fun loving kitten and cuddler.  She’s always up for a game of catch or chase, but when she’s tired, she loves nothing more than a head massage while sitting on your lap.

She has zero bad habits (besides being a kitten).  She LOVES her food and scarfs it up with no problem and uses her litter box like a champ!

She does have a minute of shyness when she meets new people, but her curiosity level is high and usually wins over incredibly quickly.

Unfortunately, Miley is a special needs cat though, so she needs an adopter willing to put in just a bit more effort.

  1. Miley had a few seizures as a young kitten.  Once she was put on phenobarbital, the seizures completely stopped, but she will probably need to be on this for life.  Currently, her pills are very easy to give – we just crush them with the back of a spoon into a powder and sprinkle them into a churu each morning.  She’ll eat it all up with no complaints.  The cost of the pills runs about $10 for a two month supply and can be filled at a regular grocery store or pharmacy.  It is, however, something to keep an eye on.
  2. Like all Furever Home cats, Miley is FeLV positive.  She can not live with non-vaccinated FeLV negative cats.  If you don’t know what FeLV is, please feel free to reach out to us at FureverHomeMD@gmail.com or call 301.703.1674
