My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Don't let Camacho's name fool you. He has a muscular build befitting a macho man (or dog) but in reality, is a ladies' man who is especially fond of woman and children. He's a two-year-old, 55-pound pup with a smile that stretches from ear to ear. With his cheesy grin, he might just be the cutest wiggle-butt you'll ever meet!

Camacho came into the shelter after being abandoned and seized. He had a shock collar on so who knows what his life was like before he was picked up. He is a  little shy for a bit with men at first, however his foster is male and reports that Camacho is very sweet and affectionate.  His foster reports that Camacho knows sit, down, and no and is an obedient pup.  He's friendly with other dogs and enjoys playing with another dog in his foster home. He does well with older kids in the home

More about this rescue

Eleventh Hour Rescue, based in Morris County NJ, is a primarily volunteer run, no-kill rescue that saves animals on Death Row from high-kill shelters. Eleventh Hour Rescue dogs and cats are cared for by our compassionate and dedicated team of volunteers and staff. Whether in foster homes, our kennel or adoption centers, each dog and cat receives a clean and safe living environment, fresh food and water, medical attention, and most importantly an abundance of love and care until they find their FURever homes. We are dedicated to educating the community about the animal over-population problem and the importance of spaying and neutering. All funds go directly to supporting our animals and their needs. We are an eligible charity under federal code 501(c)3 founded in 2004.
