My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Butter and Cream
DSH, Buff Tabby, Born August 2024, Neutered Male (both)

Butter and Cream are a bonded pair and must be adopted together!

Hi there! We’re Butter and Cream, a playful and independent pair of buff tabby kittens looking for our forever home together. Here’s a little about us!

Our Personalities:

  • We’re friendly with visitors, though we can be a little shy at first. Once we’re comfortable, we love playing, running around, and napping nearby.

  • We’re a little independent, which means we’re not constantly asking for attention. Most of the time, we entertain each other, but we do like to curl up with our foster or the other kittens for naps sometimes.

Our Favorite Things:

  • We’re big fans of the tunnel! Running through it, on it, or wrestling each other around it—it’s all part of the fun.

  • The crisscross scratcher and pieces of cardboard keep us busy, and we enjoy vertical and sisal rope scratching posts for climbing and scratching.

We’re Great with Other Cats and Kids!
We get along with other cats and are good with children, so we’d fit well in a family home with a bit of playful energy.

Litter Box Habits:
We’re well-behaved with the litter box, though we sometimes get a little too excited and roll around in it during playtime!

Our Ideal Home:
If you’re looking for two beautiful, lively kittens who can entertain each other but still enjoy cuddles and playtime with you, we could be the perfect fit! We’re social but a bit more independent, so we’ll be just as happy hanging out together as we will be keeping you company.

One Quirk About Us:
Cream can be a little mischievous when he’s in a playful mood and no one else wants to play, so he’ll sometimes try to roughhouse with a foot. Just one of his goofy quirks!

If you think we’d be a good match for your home, we’d love to meet you!

Our fees include a full medical exam by a veterinarian. This includes a Feline Leukemia and FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) test for cats, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, deworming and Spay/Neuter. Dogs receive a Heartworm Check, Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper Vaccines, Canine Flu Vaccine, deworming, and Kennel Cough preventative. Our modest adoption fees do not cover the procedures and vet work that we provide the animals. We fundraise to make up the difference. Any ongoing medical needs that C.A.R.E. is aware of are explained fully, (including daily medicine costs), to the potential adopter, and become the responsibility of the adopter.
