Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Hi! I'm Smiley, an 11-month-old Siberian Husky with the brightest eyes you'll ever see. I’m still a pup at heart, but I’ve already learned a lot about life in a human home. I’m housebroken, and I’ll let you know when I need to go outside. If the great outdoors isn’t available, I’m smart enough to use a pad in a designated area. I’m even learning how to go on command—cool, right?
I have a love-hate relationship with the crate—well, mostly hate. I’ll tolerate it, but it’s definitely not my favorite place to be! I’d much rather be out with my people or playing with my furry friends. Speaking of, I’m great with other dogs! I love to play and have learned how to be respectful, though I can be a bit too much for the smaller pups. I haven’t met any cats yet, but I love to chase little critters like lizards and birds. Bigger animals? I’m a little more respectful, but my inner hunter is always curious!
When it comes to kids, I think they’re awesome! I get super excited and want to be their best friend, though sometimes I forget my size and might be a bit intense for the little ones. I’m working on being more gentle, but sometimes I still get carried away with mouthing—it’s just how I play!
I’m learning to be better on a leash, though I’ll admit, I still pull when something interesting catches my eye (like a bird!). But I’m a quick learner and will sit for treats, meals, and even at the door. My "leave it" command is getting really strong too, which is super helpful when I get distracted. I’m also picking up directions like left, right, and wait—told you I’m smart!
With my strong Husky personality, I’ll need a little extra guidance and reinforcement to reach my full potential. I’m eager to please, love to cuddle, and I’m incredibly affectionate. One of my favorite things to do is simply observe the world—you’ll often find me sitting or lying down, gazing into the horizon, taking it all in. And I’m always ready for the next adventure, whether it’s a walk, a car ride, or a trip to the park.
I’m a big heart in a furry package, and I can’t wait to find a family who’ll love me as much as I’ll love them!

More about this rescue
We started this small rescue in rememberance that rescue work is strictly about the dogs. We do our best to help save as many dogs as we can with our limited resourses.
We can always use volunteers and Foster homes to help us accommplish this task. Any donations would be greatly appreciated as well from $5 to $500 and they all go to helping more dogs.
