Sassy likes to learn new things, and the principle way she does so is by getting a taste. When she wants to know more about you, she will give you a few licks as an icebreaker. It doesn't stop at just you, as she will lick anything else she wants to know about as well. She gets especially silly if she can't explore. Her quiet (yet insistent) meow will tell you if she wants a chance at licking something new. To meet Sassy in person please stop by the shelter on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday during our normal business hours. Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday doesn't work for you? To meet the animals any day of the week, please fill out an adoption application. Once your application is approved, we would be happy to make an appointment outside our normal business hours/days. The Chippewa County Humane Association is a non-profit animal welfare organization serving Chippewa and the surrounding counties in west-central Wisconsin. We are located on County Highway S just outside of Chippewa Falls.
