My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Chewy, a gentle senior pup looking for his forever home! At 8 years old, Chewy has mastered the art of slow living. He loves leisurely walks and curling up for a snuggle to enjoy quality time with you. While many people may overlook adopting a senior pet, there are so many benefits that they often forget! Chewy is potty-trained, walks great on a leash, and minds his manners. Adopting a senior dog like Chewy means you're introducing a calm and easy-going friend into your life.

If you’re looking for a mellow, affectionate companion, look no further! Give this loving senior boy the love and comfort he deserves. Apply to meet Chewy today!

More about this rescue

SNIPSA is an organization formed by a group of veterinarians and caring individuals dedicated to helping homeless and unwanted animals in San Antonio and the surrounding area. SNIPSA does not have a standing shelter and depends on a core of volunteers to foster and rehabilitate animals in their homes. This provides us with the opportunity to learn first hand about the animal’s needs and behavior in order to facilitate an appropriate adoption. SNIPSA was incorporated in 2005 and has re-homed more than 3000 animals.
