Meet Leo, a small but mighty kitten with a huge personality! Found in a grocery store parking lot by a kind mom and her two kids, Leo came in with a broken shoulder but has healed beautifully and is now unstoppable! Despite being the tiniest of his foster family, Leo’s big spirit shines as he keeps up with his six playful foster brothers, especially his buddy Coal. They’ve formed a sweet bond, and these two would love to find a forever home together!
Leo’s curiosity and playful energy make him a lively companion—he’s quick to scale gates and has even conquered a nearly 7-foot indoor cat enclosure! His affectionate side shows in his love for cuddling up on your shoulder or nestling into your lap when he's ready to relax. Leo is also wonderfully vocal, using his soft growls and meows to communicate exactly what he’s feeling.
With his sweet face, striking markings, and bold personality, Leo will bring tons of fun and love to a home that appreciates his spunky charm. This friendly, purring, climbing extraordinaire is ready to find a family that will cherish his adventurous spirit and endless affection!
Leo is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
