My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This charismatic and beautiful young 1 to 2-year-old, 72 lb Great Pyrenees girl is called Myra. Found in the Nashville Tennessee area on the beautiful Natchez Trace, historic Road, Myra is now currently in a small rescue that has given her limited time to find her way to Foster home or a forever home through Critter Cavalry Rescue. This girl has a warm and uplifting smile and a huge desire to be petted and given attention. No one came forward after 10 days to claim her and so her clock is now ticking rather fast and loud. She must get out of the shelter and Critter Cavalry Rescue has now started the search for that perfect foster or forever home. She is a beauty that doesn't need her life to be snuffed out at a shelter. Critter Cavalry is more than willing to pay all cost for this girl to exist somewhere temporarily or hopefully we can find a forever home soon. More about this rescue

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Cavalry give them a chance to have a life?
