Meet Ash – a confident, playful kitten with a little bit of a “stinker” streak and a heart of gold. Ash had a rough start, found as a tiny, one-pound fluffball with crusted-over eyes that hid his bright, curious gaze. But once he healed, his true personality shone through – friendly, independent, and always ready for an adventure!
Ash is affectionate and loves a good wrestle, especially with his foster brother Clyde. While not bonded, they’re great playmates, and Ash would do best with another active kitten or young cat to keep him company. He’s also learning the ropes with dogs and can hold his own with a playful pup.
This curious guy is always up for a bit of mischief, and though he’s sometimes a lap cat, he’s happiest when he’s playing hard or exploring. Ash is a true buddy in the making – adopt him and enjoy a lifetime of laughs, cuddles, and joyful antics!
Ash is currently in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting him, please send a message here, or email adopt@ahsem.org.
Adoption fees are as follows: $155 for a single cat or kitten, $195 for a pair of cats or kittens. When adopting a cat from AHSEM the adoption includes spay or neuter surgery, age appropriate core vaccines, microchipping, combo tested (for FIV/FeLV), and basic wellness care including deworming and flea treatment.

AHSEM treats every adoption as "foster to adopt" This means that the first two weeks in which you have the cat is the "foster period." We do our best to ensure the right match for all involved and want to give the cat(s) time to decompress and adapt to their new environment. However, we realize sometimes things don't work out as expected. Therefore, during that two-week period, if something doesn’t work out you can bring the cat back. We will always take our cats back even after the "foster to adopt" period. We would hate to see them end up at a kill shelter, abandoned, or any other unsafe situation.
