Adrian – The Clever and Playful Kitten

Adrian is a highly intelligent and observant kitten who remembers everything. While it took patience and time to earn his trust, he’s now a belly-rub enthusiast who loves pets all over. His favorite toys are wands and whips, and he can’t help but drool when he’s overjoyed. Adrian may be a little timid with new people, and might even hiss at first, but don’t be fooled – he’s easily won over with a good play session. Once you bring out a toy, he’ll perk right up and show you his playful side. Although he’s been introduced to other cats, he’s not fully integrated yet and could use a home where he can take his time adjusting. Adrian needs an adopter who has experience with kittens that have a more reserved personality or someone who’s patient and understanding. With the right person, Adrian will blossom into a loving, playful, and affectionate companion in his forever home.

Adrian is shown as a Maine Coon Mix / Tabby / Tabby - Brown based solely on his appearance. We rarely take in purebred animals, so virtually all of them are a mix of several breeds. Do not make an adoption decision based only on our breed designation, especially if you are concerned about allergies.

All cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, treated for fleas and ear mites, tested for FELV/FIV and microchipped. You must fill out an adoption application and talk directly with one of our adoption coordinators. An adoption contract must be signed at time of adoption.

You may visit The Cat House daily, except major holidays, 1-4 pm, by appointment only. We also have an off-site adoption center located inside Petco at 4144 N. Blackstone at Ashlan in Fresno, which is open open daily 10am-5pm and Wednesday 10am-6pm.

The Cat House on the Kings is California's largest no-cage, no-kill, lifetime cat sanctuary and adoption center located on 12 acres along the Kings River in Parlier, California, which is in the central San Joaquin Valley, southeast of Fresno.

At The Cat House, our mission is to:
1) provide a no-cage, no-kill sanctuary for feral and abandoned cats and kittens for the State of California, primarily serving the Central Valley;
2) facilitate the adoption of cats (primarily), dogs and other rescued animals into safe, loving, healthy and permanent homes;
3) educate the public on how to become directly involved in improving the quality of animal welfare;
4) offer low cost spay and neuter referrals.
