I’m a big-hearted, goofy guy with a serious love for life! I’m super playful and love making people laugh with my silly antics – I’ve got plenty of energy, and I’m always up for an adventure. Whether it’s fetching a ball, exploring new places, or just rolling around like a goof, I’m happiest when I’m having fun with my people.
But don’t let my goofy side fool you – I’m also a very smart boy! I love using my big brain to figure things out, especially when there’s a treat involved. I’m quick to learn new commands and tricks, and I’d be thrilled to keep growing my skills with someone who enjoys teaching me. Mental games, puzzles, or just learning new ways to impress you – I’m all in!
When the fun is done, I turn into the biggest lovebug. I crave affection and can’t get enough cuddles, belly rubs, and head scratches. I’ll happily snuggle up for as long as you let me – being close to my people is my favorite place to be.

The Animal Defense League was established in 1934 by a group of individuals, “for the prevention of cruelty to animals; to promote kind and humane treatment of animals; and to aid and assist the enforcement of laws enacted for the prevention of animal cruelty.”
In 1961, ADL moved to its present location in the easily accessible northeast part of San Antonio. Its campus encompasses more than 12 acres and includes a two-acre pet park. On the property is an Adoption Center with a small retail store, and a separate 5,000 square-foot Clinic which houses our veterinary hospital that provides onsite spay/neuter surgery, surgery for injured and ill animals, and ongoing medical care for all ADL resident animals.
