Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Fostered in CT for A Dog Named Black Jack Animal Rescue. He’s an approximately 1.5 year old 50lb neutered male husky pulled from a California high kill shelter moments before being euthanized. He is friendly and affectionate with people and loves other dogs. He would do great with a dog companion of a similar size and energy level. No small animals or cats though, since he does have a high husky prey drive. He is quiet in the car, walks great on a leash, and would make a fantastic running/hiking buddy. He does have separation anxiety, which is expected after all he’s been through. Because of this, a home with another dog would be ideal, or someone who works from home or is able to spend time making sure he feels safe when alone. He doesn’t have any issues with food/resource guarding and allows all handling! Older kids preferred due to his high energy.
A fenced in yard is required, no electric fences. Adoption fee TBD usually ~$450. Apply at Www.adognamedblackjack.com/adopt
