My name is Louie!

Louie is 7 and came from a shelter with an unknown history. I rescued him after his adoptive owner unexpectedly passed away. She had three other small dogs and three other cats in the household that he got along with. He currently cohabitates with four cats bigger than him. Louie does seem to have separation anxiety and I believe he will do best in a home with someone who is retired, works from home or has the ability to allow him 24/7 access to potty outside/doggy door. Louie is very protective so he takes awhile to warm up to others so trust is important. He sleeps most of the day and especially loves naps/cuddles. I have personally not tested his boundaries around children but based off of his personality I believe he would do best in a household with older children. Louie only has three teeth so he only eats soft foods! His favorite activities include car rides, binge watching shows, play fighting and kissing you to death
