Meet Patia, our mini shepherd 😊 We don’t know what this little girl is mixed with but she weighs only 34 pounds and is approximately 12 months old so isn’t going to get any bigger. Patia was off to a rough start, sold as a baby by a backyard breeder (as a German shepherd!) and then thrown outside to live alone for many months, her whole life really. Currently in foster care this sweetheart is making up for lost time and is all puppy with endless energy. Patia loves playing with her foster siblings big and small and has a typical rough puppy playstyle. This little fireball would love a yard to run in and a young active energetic doggie brother or sister or both. Patia will need a family that is willing to continue her training with lots of positive reinforcement, she is a smart girl and eager to please, ready to learn. She is well on her way to being housebroken and already uses potty pads nicely. Little Patia loves her crate to sleep in overnight without accidents and she only complains a little when it’s time for crate breaks and nap times during the day in her crate or pen.
In her foster home she has already learned how to sit and is working on lie down and how to walk on a leash without pulling too much. She is very treat motivated and a smart little cookie who will be fun to train more commands and tricks.
