Meet Camel: Your Quiet and Loyal Companion!

Camel is a 67-pound Lab mix with a heart as golden as his coat. You’ll often find him patiently and quietly waiting by his kennel bars, hoping for his turn to head outside. While he might seem a little shy at first, it doesn’t take long for him to warm up and show his incredibly sweet side.

Camel is all about soaking up pets and attention, and his gentle nature makes him a joy to be around. He arrived at the shelter with other dogs so he has the potential to live with other furry friends!

He’s happiest on leisurely exploring walks and loves nothing more than lounging beside you after a little adventure. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will brighten your days with his calm and loving presence, Camel is ready to be your best friend!

Adoptions are free and include support from our adoption team to ensure a smooth transition from the shelter to your home. Interested in adopting from IACS? Here’s how our adoption process works:
1. Look at our available animals for adoption online
2. Fill out our online adoption application with the name of the pet you have fallen in love with, OR leave it blank and our adoption counselors will help you pick your new best friend.
3. Submit the application and then come to the shelter.
Walkup Adoptions Daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
