Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Meet Felix, a cat who embodies independence, gentleness, and a touch of shyness. He`s the perfect companion for someone who appreciates a pet with a bit of self-sufficiency. Felix enjoys his quiet moments, but also loves to show his gentle side with a soft purr or a gentle nudge of his head. His shyness might mean it takes a little time for him to warm up, but once he does, he`ll be your loyal friend for life. Why should you adopt Felix? Because he`s not just a cat, he`s a companion. His independence means he won`t be too demanding, his gentleness will bring calm to your home, and his shyness adds a charming quirk to his personality. Felix is ready to make your home his forever home.

More about this shelter
We are an open admissions shelter, meaning we take in homeless animals regardless of age, breed, health, temperament or lack of space. On average, we take in about 5,500 stray, surrendered and abandoned animals per year including dogs, cats, small mammals, birds and reptiles. We provide adoption services to find safe, happy homes for these pets; and also provide low-cost vaccination and microchip clinics to help safeguard them against illness or being lost forever.
