Meet Copper! Observed by shelter staff: Copper is a 9 month old intact male bloodhound mix who is large in size. Copper is a friendly dog but right now shelter life is making him feel scared. He came in with another dog and they got along well but the other dogs here are scary to him. He also seems to be afraid of cats. Copper seems to be house trained, likes to play with toys, and is very gentle when taking treats. We recommend a home with older dog savvy children because he does not like to be restrained/hugged. Shelter life is hard for a lot of dogs, especially dogs like Copper. He needs a home with a slow approach to help him relearn that the world isn`t as scary as it seems.
