This adorable black-and-white kitten, about 8 weeks old, was found with her siblings and is now ready to find her forever home.
Lotus has a beautiful short-haired coat that’s the perfect mix of sleek black and pristine white, with one extra special detail— a tiny little white mustache that gives her a distinctive, lovable look!
She’s a very sweet kitten with a playful and curious nature, always eager to explore, discover, and interact with her human friends.
Whether she’s pouncing on a toy or snuggling up for a nap, Lotus is sure to bring plenty of joy and warmth to any home. Her gentle, affectionate personality makes her an ideal companion for families, singles, or anyone looking for a sweet, spunky kitten to share their life with.

If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.

Submit Application

Interview

Macomb County Animal Control will verify proper preventative care history of past/current pets and verify home ownership/review a pet policy

3.
Approve Application

Once an application is approved the adoption coordinator will schedule a time with the applicant/family to meet the pet.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

If a meet-and-greet is successful the family has an opportunity to finalize the adoption.

5.
Pay Fee

Each pet has an established adoption fee and payment can be accepted in the form of credit/debit, check or cash.

6.
Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

Fees very depending on age, animal, breed, etc. Fees vary and are established by the county to help offset medical and care expenses.

You are required to fill out an adoption application that is subject to review. We reserve the right to deny any application for any reason. If you would like to adopt and dog and already have a dog/s, please bring your dog/s with you so we can make sure the dogs get along. If you rent your home, live in a condo or mobile home community, please bring proof that you are allowed to have pets.
