My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello Northeast people, my name is Frosty and I am a handsome blue-eyed 2-year-old 48 lb male Husky mix, and I was found tied to a fence in Queens NY. I was thankful when Animal Control picked me up but did not realize they were going to euthanize me, so I started hoping for a miracle! That’s when 4 Little Paws Rescue decided I was worth saving even though my paws are clearly not little! These days I’m living in a foster home in CT and I’m doing great, having fun, making friends, enjoying the cooler weather, and waiting to meet you!

I am very affectionate and love sharing kisses and snuggling. I love my people, although shy when first meeting, but overall very loyal and loving once I know you. I love running zoomies at playtime and I love doggy toys, especially my favorite octopus, LOL. I rarely bark, I’m housebroken, I don’t guard my stuff, I love going for walks and taking rides in the car. I’m not in love with being kept in a crate, but I’m free to roam the house when left alone in my foster home without a problem. I think my future looks bright and I’m ready to find a forever family. Inquire about me today and bring me home!

* 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Additional adoption info

Please DO NOT apply unless the entire family / household is on board with adopting one of our dogs. We must receive an application for you to move forward in the process. Thoughtful direct emails are welcome and will be answered. However, an application is still a necessary step. We want to make sure we find our dogs a perfect fit with a family so both the dog and the family are happy. We keep our dogs with fosters once we get them out of shelters for a little bit to learn and understand their personalities. Our relationship with families doesn't stop at adoption! We are always available for any follow up questions and are happy to be a resource as you and your new pet settle into a routine.
