My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Apply to Adopt Me!

If you are looking for a fun, energetic and playful pup, then Sassy is your girl. This 6 to 8-month-old, 16lb. mini poodle mix puppy is raring to go! She was found as a stray in terrible condition, but after a few months of love and care, she has blossomed into a wonderful little girl with a beautiful buttercream color coat. She may get a few pounds bigger, but we think she will remain pretty small. This girl loves playing with toys and other young playful and highly active dogs, loves tug-of-war and running. She does have a tendency to jump so if the home has kids, they need to be older and be able to handle a jumping dog until she is trained. Her leash walking is a "practice makes perfect" kinda thing, and we think she will keep getting better. She is crate trained and house trained, but potty breaks every few hours would be best as well as continuing her socialization with people and other dogs. Obedience training is highly recommended. Sassy would love another young and playful dog sibling. She would be too much energy for a senior dog in a home. A fenced yard is also important so Sassy can run around and burn off puppy energy. Since she is a poodle mix, she is a low shedder and will need regular brushing and grooming. If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe your active family has the time, energy and love to devote to raising an energetic puppy, please send in an application and let us know more about your family.
